Germantown Skate/Bike Park?

Germantown city officials are eyeing up two potential "Skate Spots" to develop in the near future. Apparently, a "spot" features removable ramps and equipment, as opposed to a "park" which is more permanent.
No word yet if bikes will be allowed in these spots, so please contact your politicians and officials and let them know: "YES, these spots should be built" and "Bikes need to be included"

News Channel 8 report on yesterday's Car Free Day DC with a quick quip from Corey and some brief footage of Josh King's flatland riding.
Come down to the Car Free Day DC party Tuesday around noon. In addition to all the other bike-related craziness, RideDC.com will be featuring a flatland demo by Josh King. Stop by to say hi, and grab a few stickers.
RideDC.com is working on being there around lunchtime with a flatland BMX demo, more details to come on that. So come out to celebrate all things 2 wheeled in DC!!
